Ohio Barn Wedding and Brewdog Brews

I know you came to this post because you want to see an Ohio barn wedding and Brewdog Brews.  I promise it is a romantic and fun story.  How could it not be, look at these cuties!  However, we are going to rewind a little bit first!

Let’s go back to high school

Annie and I have known each other since her freshman year of high school.  We became fast friends back then bonding over twirling and hot chocolate on cold football Friday nights.  After Annie went to college, I found out that she had met and fallen in love with Nick.  I was beyond happy for her because it was easy to see that they were perfect together.

Annie and Nick stuck together through thick and thin for the past 10 years.  They moved across the country twice with each other while pursuing teaching careers.  Now Annie and Nick are back in Ohio to settle down.

Fast Forward to the Wedding Day

Annie and Nick booked rooms nearby at The Doghouse by Brewdog, the world’s first craft beer hotel.  This is where the bridal party prepped before the wedding and where we also took most of the pictures! It was a fun experience and amazing backdrop for pictures.  We even did a “beer run” series of photos that you can see below.  The groomsmen raced about 50 yards to get a can of Elvis Juice, an amazing Brewdog IPA.  The catch?  Whoever won had to chug the beer as quickly as possible.  You will be able to see their amazing race below!

The wedding ceremony and reception were held at The Old Blue Rooster, a stunning versatile venue in Columbus.  Annie and Nick had the most beautiful outdoor ceremony behind the barn.  They were married with the perfect backdrop of warm color from the Autumn leaves.

The reception took place inside the barn following the ceremony.  Annie and Nick planned a party that won’t soon be forgotten!  When the reception ended, the party continued back at Brewdog’s DogTap connected to the hotel.  Tim and I love parties that never seem to end!  It provides the best opportunities for great pictures!

Here is a real review from Annie: “Arika and Tim are dream photographers. They made our day so much fun by making our group comfortable, being flexible and having fun with us. They made the picture taking process so fun and we can’t wait to see what they look like!”
