One of the things clients love most about their portrait sessions with Emerald Anchor Photography is that they are designed to be entirely unique and meaningful to each customer. When we get together beforehand to book the session, we also talk about how we can make it unique and meaningful to you. We have all seen the typical, posed portraits. Everyone has them whether they are yearbook pictures or even department store images.
My clients tell me that they don’t want these “cookie-cutter” portraits.
Christen and Josh knew that they wanted something unique and momentous to them and when Christen and I sat down to discuss their engagement session, there were so many great ideas floating around. We knew that we had to incorporate their love for the Cincinnati Reds into their pictures as well as their love for their sweet pup Hemi. Perhaps one of the greatest ways that we were able to make their engagement session meaningful to their story is by shooting it on the 36 acres that they own and will someday live on. I don’t want to be the photographer who has you pick out a background and pose in front of it.
