Today is Emerald Anchor Photography’s very first small business shout-out!
I am so excited to share an amazing small business with my readers and it includes some pretty exciting news! Some dear friends of mine, Meaghan and Krista, are the founder and co-founder of Urban Cabana. Urban Cabana is a skin-care company that offers a full line of professional strength, all natural skin care products with organic ingredients.
This company was founded by licensed estheticians and offers products that are organic, natural, effective and safe. They have also just started offering therapeutic grade essential oils and are excited to announce their Essential Oil of the Month Club!
Not only do these ladies have a desire to provide you with products that are healthy and natural for your skin,
they also have a heart for changing the world.
Meaghan and Krista have mission minded hearts and desire to change the world through the sales of their business.
When Meaghan and Krista were looking for a charity to partner with, they felt called to donate their proceeds to an organization that fights human trafficking. They didn’t feel comfortable giving proceeds just for awareness but through a series of beautiful occurrences, they discovered The Exodus Road.
The Exodus Road is an organization that deals with human trafficking and runs covert missions in order to rescue young women, girls and boys from brothels.

“In March 2014, we are launching our Essential Oil of the Month Club. It will be a monthly subscription in which you will receive an Essential Oil with a list of common daily uses. It will also have an easy DIY recipe, a monthly encouragement along with private access to our member’s library of recipes and uses. The oils come packaged beautifully in an organza bag with tiny seashells. We will also include some referral cards with three sample bottles to share the oils and our mission with friends and family. 10% of the profit will go to The Exodus Road each month. This oil club is not about us, but about sharing God’s love by speaking truth (something some people don’t hear enough of) and encouragement. More importantly, with your help, we will not only be raising awareness about human trafficking but also supporting an organization that is going in and busting down doors to free these slaves. Once these slaves have been rescued they receive Christian counseling while being reintroduced to the world.”
