I had the most wonderful opportunity to travel out to Johnstown, Ohio and shoot this beautiful engagement photography session with Chelsea and Mason. This couple is clearly happy and in love! Chelsea and Mason had so many amazing ideas for their engagement session, I wish we could have had two days. The engagement session was photographed on the family farm Mason grew up on. It went on forever and was entirely breathtaking. There were small rolling hills, old barns, wide open fields, beautiful wooded areas and even an old railroad bed and bridge.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve had the opportunity to shoot at.
There was so much love and sentiment wrapped up into shooting at this location. With Mason having spent his childhood growing up with this land, the location already seemed like the perfect spot. When Mason and Chelsea first began dating, the farm was the perfect place for her to come to after work to see Mason. It is such a magical place to her and helped Mason to win her over. While Chelsea fell in love with the farm right away, Mason won her over with moonlight 4 wheeling through the fields on the edge of the woods and shooting their favorite guns that you can catch in some of the pictures below. Mason helped Chelsea shoot the AR on their third date! He definitely knows the way to a woman’s heart! These were the romantic adventures that led Chelsea to fall in love with Mason and I am so glad I was able to tell their love story!
